My name is Alecia Swaby Grier, and for as long as I can remember, my heart has been set on caring for others. Although I began my professional journey in the banking industry, where I enjoyed the nuance of working with people on an individual basis, I eventually realized that my true purpose lay elsewhere. When my banking career began to shift toward administrative tasks and away from the people I served, I knew it was time to pursue my childhood dream. To me, nursing is not just a profession—it is a calling and a gift ordained by God, a gift that has healed me and one that I am honored to share through my faith-based practice.

My clinical foundation is built on over a decade of experience across the medical and psychiatric lifespan. Having served as an Inpatient Psychiatric Nurse at prestigious institutions such as Yale New Haven Hospital and NYU Langone, I have managed complex psychiatric care for everyone from young adults to geriatric patients. My background in high-acuity environments has refined my skills in crisis management, therapeutic de-escalation, and comprehensive treatment planning. With a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and specialized post-graduate training from Walden University, I bring over 600 hours of advanced clinical experience in medication management and psychotherapy to every client interaction.
